Checks
- The required Open Graph fields are present, image and URL are absolute, and twitter:card is set.
What the two cards use
The Open Graph card uses og:title, og:description, og:image and og:url. The host under the title comes from og:url. The Twitter card uses twitter:title, twitter:description and twitter:image when those tags exist, and otherwise the Open Graph values. twitter:card summary_large_image draws the image above the text; summary draws a small image beside it. A missing twitter:card still leaves the Open Graph card drawable from the og: tags.
Replace the sample with the head of a page you are about to publish. The preview shows the strings in the box. It does not request the page, and a platform can still crop a title or ignore an image after it fetches the live URL. The SERP preview on this site checks the title tag and meta description length for Google results.
